Hello!
We decided that it would be a good idea to post a short bio of both of us, so that any visitors can get a quick glance at what we’re each about and what we do. Randi’s asked me to go first so that she can copy me later
Well… my name is Jamion and I’m a student, librarian, musician, and writer. In 2005 I graduated from Lee University with a degree in history and writing, and shortly afterwards I got into a program at the University of Tennessee for Information Science. I plan on being a student forever, basically, in order to defer loans and take advantage of reduced healthcare costs and ten-percent-off coupons at Wendy’s.
I love my career choice, which is librarianship, although I am looking forward to doing some writing in the future (maybe even work in a printing press?). Eventually I’d like to teach, but I’m flexible…
I fancy myself a songwriter and oftentimes try to record musical ramblings with a few close friends… unfortunately the band in which we all defined our college experience is indefinately hibernating. However, those memories can be dug up here, if you want.
Randi and I met our very first semester at Lee, in Fall of 2001, whilst we were in the same pot of boiling water, so to speak. Studying for the same New Testament class, we quickly became friends, and stayed that way until about three years ago, when we decided that we enjoyed each other’s company on another level… my first memory of her is about chocolate milk (ask her about it
).
I’ll let her take over from here, but not without thanking you first for coming and checking our modest website out! Comments are welcomed and appreciated!
Jamion
